Morgan Stanley prices AAPL near $1000 bull valuation
Fortune reported a research paper by Katy Huberty of Morgan Stanley where she raised AAPL’s projections from $515 to $720. She noted that for a bull case, it is possible for AAPL to hit $960 and for a base case, it will be $405.
Her reasons for such valuation:
- 1) Enterprise tablet adoption combined with demand upside from lower-priced iPad.
- 2) iPhone estimates don’t credit Apple for the potential share gains when it launches an LTE-capable device in 2H12.
- 3) China and other emerging markets, like Brazil, remain huge untapped markets.

OMGPOP in all it’s Glory.
Well, OMGPOP is back in my radar again. When I was 10, which dates back to about 4-5 years back, I was a huge fan of “Hover Kart Racing”, a popular OMGPOP game. Flash was everything we had then it was awesome (NOT). Till HTML5 came to introduce itself, we’re not here for that so let me just skip the tech terms part.
Basically to summarize everything, Hover Kart Racing had awkward controls, slow running servers and after some time crashing browsers because the Flash isn’t able to free up RAM (yes, Flash Player takes up RAM until you quit an application). The whole idea of Hover Kart Racing was great, except one thing, user experience. For that I can’t blame that as web technologies were limited.
The “Draw Something” era:
When I first heard of this game, I was super duper stoked for it. It is just as exciting as how every Harry Potter fan was excited to see the first Harry Potter movie. But I was disappointed in several ways I must mention, which is the point of this story. This is the amount of errors and annoyance I’ve gotten over 5 minutes of using this app. I ain’t lying.
